Disaster to give MCA which fields 44 parliamentary candidates with 17 new faces a chance when the chance should be given to our children and children’s children to ensure that Malaysia will be restored as a world-class great nation in 30-40 years’ time
The MCA, which fields 44 parliamentary candidates with 17 new faces, is asking the voters to give the MCA candidates a chance and to drop them in the next general election if they fail to live up to the voters’ standards.
I think It would a disaster to give MCA parliamentary candidates a chance when the chance should be given to our children and children’s children to ensure that Malaysia will be restored as a world-class great nation in 30 or 40 year’ time.
The 15th General Election is probably the last chance to save Malaysia from becoming a failed and rogue kleptocratic state. It will take 30 or 40 years for Malaysia to become a failed and rogue state like Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe but we must start the process in the 15th General Election to save Malaysia and prevent it from deteriorating further whether in politics, economics, education, employment, housing, culture and sports.
In the early years of Malaysia, the nation was the richest country in Asia apart from Japan. Today, more than six decades later, we have lost out to Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Vietnam, and if we continue at this rate, we will lose out to more countries in the coming years and decades.
In 1965, one Singapore dollar was equal to one Malaysian ringgit. Fifty-seven years later, in 2022, one Singapore dollar is equal to RM3.39. Does this show the success or failure of Malaysian nation-building?
A few decades ago, Malaysia was regarded as head and shoulders above China, India and Indonesia in having a good government in the battle against corruption. But China is likely to overtake Malaysia in the annual Transparency International (TI) Corruption Perception Index (CPI) before 2030 and Indonesia and India will overtake Malaysia in the TI CPI before 2040.
Why is this so? Why is corruption and abuses of power so prevalent in Malaysia, and will soon be worse than China, Indonesia and India?
The reason why Malaysia is straggling behind other nations is because we have not got a good government in Putrajaya for more than a decade – corruption and abuses of power have become more widespread and rampant in recent years.
It is time to instal a good Federal government in Putrajaya, fight corruption and abuses of power, and end the trend where financial scandals explode form RM100 million in the Bank Rakyat scandal in 1979 to RM50 billion 1MDB scandal in 2010 under the premiership of Najib Razak 30 years later.
If Zahid Hamidi, President of UMNO/Barisan Nasional wins and becomes the Prime Minster, Malaysia will surely become a third-rate failed and rogue kleptocfatic state in another three or four decades, and financial scandals will explode in the region of RM300 billion to RM500 billion in another three or four decades.
Zahid is incapable of leading a good government – nor can Muhyiddin head a good government as shown by the mishandling of the Covid-19 pandemic during Muhyiddin’s time as “backdoor” Prime Minister, where so many Malaysians were infected with Covid and even died, causing Malaysia to be one of the worst-performing nations in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.
Hadi Awang is even worse than Zahid Hamidi and Muhyiddin Yassin, as Hadi is capable of telling lies and untruths which gives Islam a bad name in Malaysia.
I am still waiting for Hadi to produce proof for his litany of lies about the DAP – that the DAP is anti-Malay, anti-Islam, anti-Royalty and lately that the DAP and I are communists.
I have been a Member of Parliament for close to 50 years and Leader of Opposition for some 30 years. Could I be a communist, as alleged by Hadi?
When did Hadi know more about communists in Malaysia than the Special Branch in Malahsia?
Zahid, Muhyiddin and Hadi cannot lead a good government, but Anwar Ibrahim, the Pakatan Harapan candidate can lead a good government, reverse the process of deterioration of Malaysia from a first-rate world-class country to a second-rate mediocre country, and prevent Malaysia from becoming a third-rate failed and rogue kleptocratic state in another three or four decades.
We have over a million Malaysians in United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to help make these nations great when they should remain in Malaysia to make Malaysia great.
This is what the 15GE on Nov. 19 is all about – to have a good government in Putrajaya to make Malaysia great again by returning to the original nation-building principles – constitutional monarchy, parliamentary democracy, separation of powers, public integrity with minimum of corruption, good governance and respect for human rights.
If we miss this opportunity in the 15GE to save Malaysia, Malaysia will start the process to sink to the level of a third-rate failed, rogue and kleptocratic state in three or four decades and we may spark a Second Malaysia Diaspora in the world. We will end up like Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
MCA candidates do not deserve a second chance, as our children and children’s children deserve a second chance to make Malaysia a great world-class plural nation.
Has any of the 44 MCA parliamentary candidates condemned the 1MDB scandal and UMNO leaders becoming more and more corrupt.
The 44 MCA parliamentary candidates not only dare not condemn the 1MDB scandal and the corruption of UMNO and Barisan Nasional leaders, they don’t even acknowledge that in the last six decades, Malaysia has deteriorated from a first-rate world-class country to a second-rate mediocre country!
For this reason, we must give a chance to our children and children’s children and not to the 44 parasitic MCA candidates.
