The 15GE is the most important and critical general election in Malaysian history for four reasons
The 15th General Election is the most important and critical general election in Malaysian history for four reasons:
First, it will be decide who will form the Federal Government in Putrlajaya. There are at present three coalitions who could form the Federal Government in Putrajaya as a result of the voting on Polling Day on November 19, 2022 – UMNO/BN, Perikatan Nasional or Pakatan Harapan.
When Parliament was dissolved on Oct. 10, UMNO and BN was sure of forming the Federal Government in Putrajaya. The three weeks from the dissolution of Parliament and nomination Day has changed the political picture, and from Nomination Day, the UMN0-BN are not so confident any more.
There are many reasons for this, including a change of political mood in the country with the realisation that the return of the UMNO-BN Federal Government in Putrajaya will see more corruption and abuse of power in Malaysia.
UMNO/BN President, Zahid Hamidi, made it very clear that the 15GE is to save UMNO/BN leaders from being charged in court for corruption and being sent to jail, and all the BN manifesto talk about prosperity and stability is just eye-wash to the agenda to free UMNO/BN leaders, even the 1MDB mastermind Najib Razak, without serving his 12 year jail sentence and pay RM210 million fine.
Secondly, the 15GE will elect who will be the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia. Ismail Sabri is the poster-by of the BN coalition in the 15GE, but he himself does not believe that he will be the Prime Minister even if UMNO/BN wins.
If Zahid Hamidi had not been a candidate in the 15GE, the BN poster boy being the Prime Minister if UMNO/BN coalition wins the 15GE may be more believable.
When Zahid said who will be the Prime Minister will be the prerogative of the Yang di Pertuan Agong and should not be questioned is a clear indication that Zahid Hamidi has not given up on his ambition to be the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Apart from Zahid, the other candidates to be a 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia are either Muhyiddin Yassin or Hadi Awang depend on whether Bersatu or PAS wins the more parliamentary seats in Perikatan Nasional on Nov. 19, 2022.
Muhyiddin was the mastermind of the Sheraton Move political conspiracy which toppled the democratically-elected Pakatan Harapan government after 22 month and illegitimately suspended Parliament on the grounds of the Covid-19 pandemic for fear of a vote of no confidence, when the third Prime Minister Hussein Onn, on the death of Razak Hussein, asked for a vote of confidence from Parliament at the start of his government.
Hadi is even worse. He has lower morals than the singer, Jamal Abdillah who has since apologised for the lies he had told about the DAP.
Hadi has not apologised for the lies he had told about the DAP, that the DAP is communist, anti-Malay, anti-Islam and anti-Royalty.
Hadi will form a government of liars.
There is finally the Pakatan Harapan candidate for the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia – Anwar Ibfrahim, who is clearly head and shouders above the other three candidates for the 10th PMship, Zahid, Muhyiddin and Hadi.
Thirdly, the 15 General Elelction is probably the last chance to save Malaysia from becoming a third-rate failed and rogue state and kleptocralcy in another four decades when Malaysia marks its Centennial.
In the last six decades, Malaysia has lost its way. We have economically lost to Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Vietnam. At this rate, we will lose to more countries in the years to come.
In 1965, one Singapore dollar is equal to one Malaysian ringgit, but 57 years later in November 2022, one Singapore dollar is equal to RM3.39.
China is likely to overtake Malaysia in the Transparency International Corruption Perception Index before 2030, and Indonesia and India overtake Malaysia in the next decade if we make a mistake in the 15GE.
Zahid, Muhyiddin and Hadi will take Malaysia to a future as a third-class, failed and rogue state in another three or four decades.
DAP and Pakatan Harapan want Malaysia to be among the best countries in the world and this is the vision of Anwar Ibrahim, but no Zahid, Muhyiddin or Hadi.
Fourthly, I call on the voters of Sarawak, Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia to vote for future generations and not just for the next five years.
Regardless of race, religion or region, we all shed tears, sweat and blood for the same reason – to ensure that our children and children’s children have a better life, more freedom, justice and prosperity.
We want meritocracy, justice and freedom in Malaysia. Let us make Malaysia great again.
Why should Malaysian talents emigrate overseas to make other nations – whether Singapore, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, United States or Canada – great? They should be able to stay in Malaysia to make Malaysia great.
