Will the PAS President Hadi Awang and the PAS Perak Commissioner Razman Zakaria emulate the award-winning singer Jamal Abdillah to apologise to DAP for lies and untruths about the DAP?
Yesterday, Jamal made an open apology for his recent call on Twitter to reject DAP for lies and untruth about azan and tahfiz schools under the DAP government in Penang.
In a two-minute Twitter video which he uploaded yesterday, Jamal said: “To all Malaysians who follow my videos, I humbly apologise for what I said in the earlier video. What I said then was a political ‘spin’, and I regret that I said such things against the DAP and PH.
“To the DAP and PH, my sincere apologies for what I said about you.”
Jamal, 63, said that his statement against the DAP and PH was based on heresay which went viral on social media during the last two general elections.
“I’m not a politician, and I formed my opinions based on conversations with friends who are politically-inclined. I regret making that video, and I have chosen to let Malaysian voters, who are my fans, decide for themselves.”
In the earlier video, Jamal urged voters to reject the DAP and PH, and said that tahfiz schools were in “danger” of being closed and there might be restrictions on the azan, should PH form the government.
Are the PAS President and the PAS Perak Commissioner capable of the honesty and humility shown by Jamal?
I have said that it is most pitiable thag Hadi Awang is an ignoramus who could accuse DAP of being communist and more pitiable to have a Perak PAS Commissioner like Razman Zakaria who could parrot Hadi in utter ignorance.
I have been in Malaysian politics for 57 years, and all tnese six decades, I do not know that I am a communist. What’s more, even the Special Branch, which has a world reputation for fighting communists and win, does not know that I am a communist.
Only Hadi knows!
This is quite a record. Either Hadi is a great ignoramus or he should be appointed the Head of the Special Branch in Malaysia, to ferret out communists who do not know they are communist for 57 years.
I must be making history in the world in being active politics in Malaysia for 57 years as a communist without knowing that I was and am a communist.
Was I a communist MP for Malacca town for three terms, one term in Petaling in Selangor, three terms in Tanjong in Penang, two terms in Ipoh Timor in Perak and one term in Gelang Patah and another term in Iskandar Puteri in Johore?
I was not only a Member of Parliament, but Leader of Opposition for some 30 year from the Seventies.
Has Malaysia got a communist as a Leader of Opposition in Parliament for some 30 years?
How is it that the Malaysian Special Branch did not know, and why did PAS co-operated with communists in the past?
Let Hadi say when did he discover that I was a communist and why he did not tell the Special Branch.
Clearly, Hadi knows something which nobody in the world knows.
I do not know whether other PAS leaders will parrot Hadi’s garbage that DAP leaders are communists?
