Can Zahid give a single instance that Najib’s SRC International case is cited in Commonwealth nations as an unfair trial as it is more than one week since Najib was sent to jail

Can the UMNO President, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, give a single instance that Najib Razak’s SRC International case is cited in the Commonwealth nations as an unfair trial as it is more than one week since Najib was sent to jail to begin his 12-year imprisonment sentence.

Zahid made this reference in his special address to UMNO delegates last Saturday.

It is surprising that although Najib’s jailing on his failure in his final appeal to the Federal Court was reported worldwide, a decision upheld by nine judges at all three tiers of the judiciary, none of it reported about Najib’s trial was unfair.

The Economist described Najib’s trial as not just about the fate of one man but also about the kind of country Malaysia wants to be.

Zahid, however, has still to respond to my query yesterday, why he was not a witness in Najib’s SRC trial as he had said that he had met the wealthy Arab family who had donated into Najib’s personal account.

I await Zahid’s response to these two questions.
