Dare MCA requisition for an emergency meeting of Barisan Nasional Supreme Council for the MCA President to be appointed BN President now that UMNO has come an illegal party and Najib should bd disqualified as UMNO and BN President?
Instead of being political cry-babies going around with the imaginary complaint that DAP wants to “besiege and eliminate” MCA, which is the reason for MCA holding the ridiculous "Johor team all out attack, anti-encirclement mega rally" in Yong Peng on Friday, MCA leaders should at least stand up for MCA dignity.
This is what Bandar Tun Razak MCA had called on the MCA national leadership to do – that MCA President Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai and Deputy President Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong should step forward to defend Bandar Tun Razak parliamentary seat for MCA as well as the dignity of MCA.
This Liow and Wee have both failed to do, as the latest news is that MCA has lost Bandar Tun Razak to UMNO although UMNO is returning Wangsa Maju to UMNO in a so-called “give one, take one” approach to seat negotiations.
Bandar Tun Razak and Wangsa Maju were two of the five MCA parliamentary constituencies in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. Wangsa Maju was loaned by MCA to UMNO in the 2013 General Election, but UMNO lost the seat. Now UMNO returns Wangsa Maju to MCA but takes Bandar Tun Razak, and says this is “give one, take one” deal.
Only MCA leaders like Liow and Wee can accept that this is a “give one, take one” fair deal when in fact, MCA has lost one Federal Territory seat for good!
When MCA leaders cannot even defend MCA dignity, what other dignity are they capable of defending?
There is now an excellent opportunity for MCA to demonstrate that it could defend its own dignity, or it has only itself to blame if it is “eliminated” from Malaysian political scene, as the DAP has no intention or capability to “eliminate” it from the political map of Malaysia.
MCA leaders should know that because of its own wrongdoings, UMNO has become an illegal political party although it is argued that the illegality of UMNO does not extend to making the Barisan Nasional an illegal political coalition.
Even so, the BN coalition with 13 component parties has become a coalition with 12 component parties, as a result of the illegal status of UMNO. One consequence of UMNO’s illegality must be the disqualification of Najib as BN President, for the political party which he heads, UMNO, is an illegal political party.
Under the circumstances, dare MCA requisition for an emergency meeting of Barisan Nasional Supreme Council for the MCA President to be appointed BN President now that UMNO has come an illegal party and Najib should be disqualified as UMNO and BN President, or will the MCA leaders prefer the role akin to the three monkeys who have eyes that see not, ears that hear not and mouth that speak not?
