Challenge to MACC chief, Dzulkifli to declare whether he dare to recommend that Najib is not a suitable candidate for the next general election because of involvement in the 1MDB scandal?
The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak has said that Barisan Nasional has submitted part of its 14th general election (GE14) list of candidates to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for screening.
Is Najib on this list of BN candidates for the 14GE submitted to the MACC for “screening”?
Even more important, dare the MACC Chief Commissioner, Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad recommend that Najib is not a suitable candidate for Barisan Nasional in the forthcoming general election because of his involvement in the international multi-billion dollar 1MDB money-laundering scandal?
Let Dzulkifli declare whether he dares to recommend Najib is not suitable as a BN candidate for the 14GE as Najib had single-handedly turned Malaysia into a global kleptocracy, something which the five previous Prime Ministers Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Razak, Tun Hussein, Tun Mahathir and Tun Abdullah, had never done in over half a century of premiership?
If Dzulkifli or the MACC dare not make such a declaration in such circumstances, what is the use of the MACC screening or vetting the potential candidates from the various parties for the forthcoming 14GE?
I also fully support the proposal by the Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah for concerted efforts to create more opportunities for young people to study the English Language and take their place on the world stage.
She said serious and urgent intervention was needed because of the “dramatic and drastic” decline in the proficiency of both written and spoken English among younger Malaysians in general.
I would go one step further.
I propose that opportunities to study English should be extended to chiefs of national institutions and government departments and agencies, or the Chief Commissioner of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Dzulkifli Ahmad would not have made the elementary blunder of accusing me of calling him a “monkey” when I used the saying of the three traditional three monkeys, “with eyes that see not, ears that hear not, and mouth that speaks not” about the 1MDB scandal!
Dzulkifli should arrange for all MACC officers to undergo English language lessons, with him the first to enrol in such courses!
