UMNO propagandists concocting a third demonization campaign against me, alleging that I am stooge of Singapore PAP as they found that two earlier lies about me being “anti-Malay” and “anti-Islam” are not as effective as they had hoped

In the past three months, I had never in my life been so “famous” in the UMNO/BN owned or controlled mainstream media, as almost every day, my picture would appear and there would be a write-up about me, appearing either in New Straits Times, Utusan Malaysia, Berita Harian or TV3 – all trying to put in the worst possible light.

There was for instance a standing instruction for decades in one of the major newspaper groups that my picture was never to appear in their dailies.

Why have I become so “famous” in the past three months when for over 50 years of my political life, I had been mostly blacked out by the UMNO/BN owned or controlled mainstream media, making me into a “non-person” as in Stalinist Soviet Union – with all the concoctions, falsehoods and lies about me?

This is really all not about me, but about the UMNO propagandists, cybertroopers and leadership – their fear that they might be ousted from Putrajaya in the forthcoming 14th General Election expected this year, probably in September.

If UMNO feels strong and invincible, they would not waste time on their political competitors, whom until recently they regard as “lightweights” and unable to threaten their political power base.

It is precisely because they had a fright of their lives in the 13th General Election, when they were nearly sent to the Opposition benches as UMNO/BN had only won 47% of the popular vote but because of the undemocratic and unjust redelineation of constituencies which gave them control of 60 per cent of the parliamentary seats, that enabled Datuk Seri Najib Razak to continue as the Prime Minister of Malaysia, albeit the first minority Prime Minister in Malaysian history.

In the 14th General Election – which is going to the “mother of all general elections in Malaysia” – UMNO leaders know that despite general public disappointments and disillusionment with the electoral process, there is nonetheless the great possibility that UMNO/BN may be voted out of power, UMNO/BN leaders are pulling out all the stops to carry out unethical, dishonest, unprincipled and unscrupulous tactics and stratagems against the Opposition, such as the politics of lies, hate and fear to defame DAP and myself as anti-Malay and anti-Islam so as to frighten the Malay electorate.

The spectre and “nightmare” UMNO leaders, propagandists and cybertroopers tried to create among Malay voters is that if UMNO is defeated, the “anti-Malay and anti-Islam” DAP would rule in Malaysia, and that all the other parties, whether PKR, Amanah or Pribumi Bersatu are just stooges of the DAP.

UMNO leaders, propagandists and cybertroopers must have found that their politics of lies, hate and fear trying to demonise the DAP as “anti-Malay, anti-Islam” and that Tun Mahathir, Tan Sri Muhyiddin, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Datuk Seri Dr. Azizah Wan Ismail and Mohd Sabu are just stooges and puppets of Lim Kit Siang do not have much credibility and not getting enough traction that they have decided on a new propaganda attack against DAP and myself.

My “Deep Throat” inside UMNO tells me that the new politics of lies, hate and fear that the UMNO leaders, propagandists and cybertroopers are going to launch against me will be the new lie that DAP and I are stooges of Singapore PAP, and that if UMNO loses power, Singapore will lord over Malaysia!

If DAP and I are stooges of Singapore PAP, it is a major failure of the Malaysian Police, in particular the Special Branch, as for some five decades of the DAP’s existence, they knew nothing about it and this never became an issue in the past 50 years.

This would mean that all the past Special Branch Directors, and even Inspectors-General of Police, all the Home Ministers in the past five decades, would have been dismal failures – and who were they?

I think it is most unfair, and a gross defamation, to regard the Special Branch, the Police and the Home Ministry in the past five decades as total failures in not knowing in the past 50 years that DAP and I were just “puppets” of Singapore, when in fact, the Special Branch in Malaysia is one of the best in the world – able to ferret out secrets and defeat the nation’s enemies and is probably the only Special Branch in the world to win the battle for the hearts and minds of the people against the communists.

The real reason is very simple – there is just no basis whatsoever in the lies that DAP and I are stooges of Singapore PAP.

Change is within reach in a matter of months in the run-up to the 14th General Election. Those who fear the loss of power are capable of resorting to the most despicable of lies and tactics to perpetuate their political power.

We have the unenviable task of exposing the lies of the UMNO leaders, propagandists and cybertroopers and telling the people the truth – that Malaysians, regardless of race, religion, region or even politics, must unite to Save Malaysia from a global kleptocracy and from getting into a trajectory hurtling towards a failed and rogue state.
