DAP challenge to MCA ï¿½ KT debate on ï¿½Who should apologise ï¿½ MCA or DAPï¿½

MCA Vice President and Health Minister, Datuk Liow Tiong Lai has said that the DAP should apologise to the Chinese voters in Kuala Terengganu for misleading them on PASï¿½ hudud issue.

How has DAP misled the Chinese voters in Kuala Terengganu when DAP had been consistent on the hudud issue?

It is the MCA which should apologise not only to Chinese voters in Kuala Terengganu and the country but to all Malaysian voters for its inconsistency and hypocrisy in saying one thing but doing another - for instance, in the MCA support for the UMNO declaration started by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad on Sept. 29, 2001 that ï¿½Malaysia is an Islamic Stateï¿½!

In the past eight years, the MCA leadership has neither retracted its support for the ï¿½929 Declarationï¿½ that ï¿½Malaysia is an Islamic Stateï¿½ nor demanded that the UMNO leadership retract the ï¿½929 Declarationï¿½.

As the MCA leadership has raised the issue of ï¿½apologyï¿½, DAP challenges MCA to a debate in Kuala Terengganu on ï¿½Who should apologise ï¿½ MCA or DAP?ï¿½

Is the MCA President, Datuk Seri Ong Tee Kiat prepared to lead a MCA team to a public debate on this subject in Kuala Terengganu before the by-election on Saturday ï¿½ whether on Thursday or Friday?
