(Parliament, Wednesday) :  Happy Deepavali to all Malaysians.  This is one of the national holidays for  all Malaysians to celebrate the nation�s  racial, religious and cultural diversity, which are the country�s richest national assets in the world and challenges of globalization in the 21^st century.

Next year, Malaysia will be commemorating the 50^th National Day anniversary. It will be a good idea if  efforts are planned by all Malaysian stakeholders  to make  next year�s Deepavali the most significant occasion  in the half-century of Malaysian nationhood.
