Sabah has produced two UMNO stooges – Abdul Rahman Dahlan and Salleh Said Keruak

Sabah has produced two UMNO stooge – Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan and Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak, who have been elevated to be Ministers in Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib’s Cabinet.

The UMNO stooge role is evident from the blogs they have been frequently posted, as if in competition with one another, to prove to the Prime Minister who is the more useful UMNO stooge.

I have just mentioned about Abdul Rahman’s latest blog, which has caused me to ask Abdul Rahman whether he has gone bonkers and scoring his own goal.

Salleh posted a blog entitled: “DAP TIDAK CHAUVINIS: BOLEHKAH KITA TERIMA PANDANGAN INI?”, and asked if Mahathir had realised his perception of the DAP had been wrong, and DAP is not chauvinist, why Mahathir had not joined the DAP.

I am surprised the Minister for Communications and Multi-media, who was formerly Sabah Chief Minister, could ask such a stupid question.

He also asked if Dr Mahathir had realised his perception towards the DAP was wrong all this time, “why did he not apologise to Lim Kit Siang and party” during the launch of the opposition pact in Johor where I was present.

Salleh said: “Clearly (Dr) Mahathir did not show any regrets over his wrong perception of the DAP prior to this. Looking at this matter, can we accept the political views of (Dr) Mahathir today? For me, of course not.”

This second question by Salleh is more intelligent than the first one, but still not very high on IQ.

At the launch of the Johor Pakatan Harapan in Tampoi last Sunday, Mahathir admitted that he was behind UMNO’s move to label DAP as a “Chinese chauvinist party” when he was the UMNO President for 22 years, but he has come to realise that DAP is really “multi-racial”.

Mahathir said:

“I am the one who started the labelling of DAP as a Chinese chauvinist party. But when I got closer to them I found that they were not Chinese-only like MCA.

“DAP is multi-racial. They have Malays and Indians as well.”

Mahahtir said some of DAP’s Malay members had even stood in elections and won.

He said: “The image that I created of DAP was not really true.”

Why is Salleh is upset that Mahathir had been wrong when he had previously said that the DAP was anti-Malay?

Is Salleh now going to use his Ministerial position to perpetuate Mahathir’s wrong and false image of the DAP as anti-Malay, while Has sub-contracting to PAS the other task to disseminate the equally wrong and false image of DAP as “anti-Islam”?

Let us stop dividing Malaysians into Malays, Chinese, Indians, Kadazans or Ibans; or Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Taoists – let us think, feel and act as Malaysians if we are to save Malaysia from kleptocracy and the fate of a failed and rogue state.
